Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Potential Dynasty LLC, doing business as Pure Potential (“we,” “us,” or “our”), collects when you use the site and the services that go with it, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do about it. By using the Service, you agree to it.

What we collect

Your account. The email address and sign-in details you register with, by password or through Google, and a profile record we create the first time you sign in. If you give us a display name so we can greet you by it, we keep that too.

Your Sleeper connection. Your Sleeper user ID and username when you link, and the league data Sleeper already publishes: rosters, matchups, drafts, transactions. Linking is read-only. It lets us load that data and show it back to you, and it does not let us act on your Sleeper account.

Your Discord, if you link it. Your Discord user ID and display name, which we use to give your account the roles your membership includes and to take them away when the membership ends or you unlink. We do not read your messages.

What you send us. A mailbag question, a trade, or a roster you submit, along with the name or handle you attach to it. See the note below about where those can end up.

Team Reviews. The email address used to order one, the league or roster being reviewed, and the finished review. A completed review is reachable through a private link we send you. The link is unguessable and we keep it out of search engines. It has no password, so anyone you forward it to can open the review.

Payments. Our payment processor handles these. We never see or store your full card number. We get back the things we need to run a membership, such as its status and the last four digits of the card.

The usual technical bits. Browser type, device, pages viewed, and the cookies and local storage that keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Our Cookie Policy covers those.

What we do with it

We use it to run the Service and improve it, to keep you signed in and your account secure, to process what you buy and deliver it, to give and remove your community roles if you have linked Discord, to talk to you about your account, to send the newsletter if you asked for it, to deal with fraud and abuse, and to meet our legal obligations.

And to answer you. A mailbag question, trade, or roster you send us may be shown on screen and discussed in a members-only livestream or a recording, normally under the name or handle you gave us. Do not send anything you would not want shown.

The data we pool

Some features run on community datasets, such as aggregate average draft position and an anonymized archive of league trades. They are built across many leagues and are not used to identify you publicly. Where a dataset has to tell one manager’s activity from another’s, it uses a one-way hashed identifier in place of a Sleeper name or ID.

What we share, and with whom

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with the companies that run the Service for us, which means our authentication and database provider, our hosting provider, our payment processor, and Discord if you have connected it. They may only use it to do that work. We share it with Sleeper as far as reading your data requires. We will share it if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users, the public, or us. And if the business is ever sold or merged, your information moves with it, still covered by this policy.

The third parties we rely on are Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Sleeper, Discord, and YouTube, which hosts our livestreams and the archive you watch inside the Service. Each has its own privacy practices, and they are worth reading.

How long we keep it

As long as your account is active, or as long as running the Service requires. Ask us to delete your account and we will, except where we have to keep something to meet a legal obligation or settle a dispute. You can unlink Sleeper or Discord at any time.

Two things outlive a deletion. We keep the records we need for tax and payment purposes. And anything already published in a livestream or a recording has aired, so we cannot pull it back out.

Keeping it safe

We use sensible technical and organizational measures, including access controls and encryption in transit, and records tied to your account are restricted so that only your account can reach them. No method of storing or sending data is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Your choices

You can see and correct your account information in your settings, unlink Sleeper or Discord, delete your account, and unsubscribe from marketing email with the link in it. Ask us for a copy of your personal data or for it to be deleted and we will sort it out. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Age

The Service is for adults. Our Terms require you to be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to hold an account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger. If you think a minor has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.

Where we operate

We are in the United States and we process your information here. If you use the Service from somewhere else, your information comes here to be handled, under laws that may differ from your own.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the date above when we do, and give notice of anything significant.
