Terms of Service

Potential Dynasty LLC, doing business as Pure Potential (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operates this website and the services that go with it. These terms govern your use of them, including all content, tools, and products offered through the site.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, do not use the Service. We may update these terms. We will change the date above when we do and give notice of anything significant, and your continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the new version.

What Pure Potential is

Three things, sold three different ways.

Launchpad is a free dynasty portfolio tracker. It needs a free account, and it is not part of any paid membership. We do not charge for it and we do not sell access to it.

A membership buys the things we make: a private Discord, members-only livestreams and their archive, the mailbag, and, on the higher tier, Paul’s dynasty rankings and the trade calculator built on them.

A Team Review is a one-time purchase. You send us a roster and we write you a review of it.

Everything we publish is opinion. Values, rankings, projections, archetypes, trade verdicts, and review commentary are estimates offered for information and entertainment. They are not guarantees of anything, and they are not financial, investment, or betting advice. The fantasy decisions are yours.

Your account

You must be 18, or the age of majority where you live, to hold an account, and the information you give us should be accurate. Keep your login details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and we are not liable for access someone else gains because your credentials were not protected. Tell us if you think that has happened. Do not share, sell, or transfer your account, or use anyone else’s.

Sleeper and other services we rely on

The Service reads data from Sleeper, operated by Blitz Studios, Inc. We are an independent product and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sleeper, the NFL, or their affiliates. Your use of Sleeper stays subject to Sleeper’s own terms.

Linking your Sleeper account is read-only. It lets Launchpad load the league data Sleeper already publishes so we can show it back to you. It does not let us post, trade, set lineups, claim players, or send messages on your behalf. You can unlink at any time.

We also depend on other companies, including our hosting, database, and payment providers, Discord, and YouTube. We are not responsible for their availability or their practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

Memberships and payments

Memberships come in tiers, billed monthly or annually through our payment processor, and they renew automatically until you cancel. A paid add-on may be offered alongside a tier. Prices and what each tier includes are described where you buy, and that description governs.

Cancel at any time from the billing settings in your account, or by writing to us. Your access runs to the end of the period you have paid for and you are not charged again. Prices can change, always with advance notice and only for future billing periods.

Payments are not automatically refundable. Ask us and we will look at it case by case, and we will do what the law where you live requires.

Team Reviews are bought one at a time. If your membership includes a review, that is a credit for one review, tied to the membership that granted it. It cannot be transferred or cashed out, and it is gone if that membership ends before you use it. A review is custom work, so a refund request made after we have started is handled case by case. If we cannot finish a review you paid for, we refund it.

Anything tied to a tier, community roles included, ends when that membership ends. We may add, change, or retire tiers, and we will tell you what happens to yours first. We may also name members who join by a stated date founding members. That is recognition we grant, and on its own it entitles you to nothing beyond what your membership already includes.

What is ours

The Service and what it contains, including the software, the design, the rankings and the methodology behind them, the livestreams and their recordings, and the reviews we write, belong to Potential Dynasty LLC or to the people who made them, and are protected by copyright. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use all of it for your own fantasy football.

Use the rankings in your leagues and quote them with attribution. Do not republish or redistribute them in whole or in substantial part, do not share your access with people who have not paid for it, and do not use them to build or train a competing product or dataset.

What is yours

You keep what you write. Notes and messages you make for yourself or for a private conversation stay private, and you license them to us only so we can run the Service for you.

What you send us for an answer works differently. A mailbag question, a trade, or a roster you submit for review or discussion may be read, shown on screen, and talked about in a livestream, a recording, or other content, under the name or handle you give us. For those submissions you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, edit, publish, distribute, and display them in any medium, in connection with the Service and with our content and its promotion.

That permission continues after your membership ends, and it cannot be withdrawn for anything we have already published, because a livestream cannot be unaired. Tell us before we use a submission and we will honor that. Do not send anything you would not want shown.

Access to our Discord comes with certain memberships. The server’s rules apply there alongside these terms, and we can remove anyone who breaks either. Removal does not on its own entitle you to a refund. We can also take down content or suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Things not to do

Do not use the Service to break the law or somebody else’s rights, reach accounts or systems you have no right to, scrape or bulk-extract our data, disrupt how the Service runs, upload anything malicious, or harass anyone.

As is, and how far our responsibility goes

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that values, rankings, and projections will be accurate or complete. Your use of it is at your own risk.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim about the Service will not exceed the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and fifty U.S. dollars ($50). You agree to cover us for claims and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these terms.

None of that limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and where that is the case our liability is limited to the least the law permits.

Ending it

You can stop using the Service and delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we discontinue the Service. The parts that should outlast the account survive it, including ownership, the license you granted for submissions we have published, the disclaimers, and the limits on liability.

Governing law

North Carolina law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in North Carolina, and you agree that those courts have jurisdiction.
